I’d like to thank THE WARRIORESS (life of a female bible warrior blog) for the REALITY Blog Award she passed on to me. You have been so encouraging and I appreciate you!
Although I originally started my blog as just a place to dump my thoughts prior to implosion, I have found great inspiration from the support of other bloggers who have befriended me and whose posts I have been reading. Thank you everyone for that!
So now the questions that come with the award…
REALITY Blog Award Questions:
If you could change something what would you change?
Ha! What a question considering some of my more recent posts! God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
If you could relive one day, when would it be?
Tough question… Maybe the day I decided to satisfy my curiosity about internet porn. But, only if I could know what I now know about it so I could prevent the damage.
What’s one thing that really scares you?
What one dream have you not completed yet, and do you think you will be able to complete it?
I dream of starting a non-profit org. in my community to serve the needs. I also dream of having a center in the country for people to “start over” and learn some skills to live normal lives. I want to write a book about porn addiction. And, yes I believe all of these things will be completed at some point.
If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be?
My wife… So I could know her more completely.
The bloggers I want to nominate for this award are as follows:
(I’ve really enjoyed Sydney’s blog as it addresses the issues of porn addiction and sexuality from a woman’s perspective. Not only men struggle with these things! I also appreciate her support and friendship–she seems to be a genuinely good person trying to make a difference.)
(Here’s a blogger in the thick of his porn addiction just writing to hold on it seems. I’ve seen him growing stronger and I’m really rooting for him. His blog is simple–his thoughts and feelings raw.)
(One of the first people I met when I started my blog. I like this guy! His blog is another one just simply about the struggle.)
(Torik89 as she calls herself has been really supportive and I’ve enjoyed following her blog because it is a very interesting perspective on the subject of masturbation. It has caused me to think more than once. She has also left some comments on my blog that I have really appreciated!)
(It doesn’t get much more real than this–a wife struggling with her husband’s porn addiction. Sometimes she has hope, sometimes she’s just plain “pissed”–for lack of a better word, and sometimes she’s ready to call it quits. Her perspective is appreciated and insightful.)
There are many others who I follow who deserve an award, but many of them have already received several already. I love you all!
[If I have nominated you for one of these awards, just do the same thing in a post as I’ve done here and nominate five bloggers per award, answering the various questions or following the rules if there are any. Add the award picture to your blog. Thanks!]
